COUNSELLORS AGAINST COVID19

Struggling to cope? Need someone to listen, and support? One of our counsellors will be there for you.

Government guidance is to stay at home over the next few weeks. Or, if you are in self-isolation, it will mean you are cut off from all outside contact for quite some time. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, new norms of social distancing and self-isolation rules are changing the way we live and work, creating unfamiliar and unknown pressures that we are sometimes unable to cope with.

Being cut off from your loved ones, with disruptions in your routines and your work, it is normal for your mood to be adversely affected, and it’s something we’d really encourage you to talk about, however you can. It’s more important than ever for us to feel socially connected, to try and reach out to people to talk, and try to be there to listen to others.

The DCWA Medical Centre has put together this critical service, keeping in mind both the need and the constraints of the current situation. While we’ve taken the difficult decision to stop offering face-to-face support in our centre, we’re still here….. to look after your well – being at this time.

We’re here to assist people and communities who are going through a difficult time, with listening, and helping to cope with the unusual and circumstances.

Who we are

During the current crisis, more than 20 professionals are volunteering their time to help people who are having difficulty dealing with the prevalent anxieties and the unprecedented demands of the “lock down” and other associated implications.

Whatever you’re going through, call us free, any time, from any phone, on +91 8169891233

You can get in touch about anything that’s troubling you, no matter how large or small the issue feels.

We’re here to listen, no judgement, no pressure – and help you work through what’s on your mind. We’ll never tell you what to do.

And if you need advice or specialist support for a specific concern, such as a bereavement or domestic abuse, we can help you find other professionals who can help you with your issues.
